The Eastern Women’s Baseball Conference is a self-funded league. All teams/players are responsible for the costs associated with keeping the league running, keeping playable fields and providing professional officiating for games. As is with all living costs, the price to run the league goes up a little more every year. In order to continue to provide women in the DC/Baltimore Area the ability to play baseball we rely on donations.
These donations are tax deductible and go directly to league costs. We have a league Venmo, PayPal or Zelle account for easy donation. If you or someone you know would like to donate to the Eastern Women’s Baseball Conference the information is below. Additionally, if you know of any businesses that may be willing to sponsor the league- or specific teams within it-please contact the board directly at ewbc.board@gmail.com.

Contributions to Give 10 for #10
Several years ago we created Give 10 for 10, an organization inspired by the life and legacy of our friend, teammate and captain Carmen Dominguez, whose life was cut short by breast cancer. Carmen’s passion for life and generous spirit serve as a reminder to all of us to treasure each day we have and every opportunity we are given. While Carmen was not rich, she always found a way to make a positive contribution. By doing so, she left her little corner of the world a better place and inspired us to do the same. To honor that legacy, Give 10 for 10 encourages everyone to recognize the power they have to make a positive impact through even the smallest of gestures. As our motto says: “It’s Not About How Much You Have – It’s About What You Do With It.”
